Team Descriptions and Important Information below.
- Age Requirement: Volunteers must be 18 years or older (except AMPLIFY Youth Committee volunteers).
- Shifts: Volunteers may be rostered any time during the Festival from 12:00pm on Friday 27 November until 7:00pm Sunday 29 November, unless you are volunteering in a team working before or after the event weekend. See Team Descriptions for details of teams working outside of the Festival operating times.
- Hours & Perks: You’ll be required to contribute between 8-10 hours across the event to receive a 3 Day Festival wristband.
- Code of Conduct: All Volunteers must agree to the Code of Conduct and must complete a mandatory safety induction prior to the event.
- Registration Fee: A $20 registration fee is payable upon application. This goes towards covering costs of Volunteer Insurance and other OHS, administrative and safety costs.
- Unsuccessful Applications: Please note that volunteer positions are limited, and submission of an application does not guarantee a spot. If your volunteer application is unsuccessful, your Registration Fee will be refunded.
- Accommodation: Volunteer accommodation is NOT provided. Local accommodation options are here or Festival Camping is the best value way to stay in the heart of Queenscliff on the festival weekend.

Ideally have prior back‑of‑house experience — this is a highly sought‑after role and returning QMF volunteers will be prioritised

Provide drinks service at bars within the Festival precinct, at the Town Hall venue, or at additional bar activations

Ensure attendees are queueing and boarding the Ferry safely and on time for each session

Scan Festival bus tickets and exchange for wristband

Sell Festival bus tickets at the Bus Tent and on the Loop bus service
