QUEENSCLIFF CLIMATE ACTION NOW (QCAN)
QCAN partner with the Council and local organisations to deliver programs that support The Borough to move to clean energy, such as subsidised solar programs and community batteries through the Neighbourhood Battery Program.
SWAN BAY ENVIRONMENT ASSOCIATION (SBEA)
Swan Bay is a wetland of national and international significance. From its beginnings in 1988, the Swan Bay Environment Association has worked with the community to protect Swan Bay. SBEEA investigates, educates and acts to build community awareness and active support for protecting this very special part of the world.
FARM MY SCHOOL
Farm My School is a not-for-profit organisation that has transformed an underutilised space at Bellarine Secondary College into a regenerative and thriving market garden, creating a community hub that fosters health, resilience and connections. The program provides students, families, and the wider school community with opportunities to learn how to grow food, build gardening skills, nourish themselves and connect with nature. Farm My School Bellarine has fastly become an example of what’s possible when community, education, and sustainability come together.
SOUTHERN OCEAN ENVIRONMENTAL LINK (SOEL)
Southern Ocean Environmental Link are a non for profit organisation dedicated to protecting our marine environments and its inhabitants.
They have created a variety of marine education activities designed to give students a better understanding of the marine environment, it’s species, ecosystems, the pressures it faces as well as what can be done to help improve the health of our oceans.
