Gillian Cosgriff is a singer, writer, actor, composer, musician and comedian, celebrated for her sharp wit, clever songwriting and infectious stage presence. A WAAPA graduate, Gillian has performed extensively across Australia and internationally, including at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Soho Theatre.

Her 2023 solo show Actually, Good was a standout, winning the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Most Outstanding Show and Golden Gibbo awards. Her theatre and television credits include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Come Rain or Come Shine, Offspring, Fisk, Spicks and Specks and Thank God You’re Here.

Gillian has also written, composed and directed for stage, including Victorian Opera’s Lorelei and Michelle Brasier’s Average Bear. Now she’s back with Life, Oh Life — a fresh mix of songs, stand-up and entirely voluntary audience participation.
