Evie Mae is an indie folk singer-songwriter living between Wurunderji and Gundijitmara country. Raised on folk, blues and rock and roll in her hometown of Port Fairy and living with the Port Fairy Folk Festival over the back fence, her sound has been immeasurably shaped by this environment. Evie’s writing style and storytelling in her songs are heavily influenced by the likes of Missy Higgins, Maddy Jane, and Angie McMahon. She released her debut EP Partly Sunny in 2022 and is constantly writing, trying to capture whatever she is feeling in that moment, whether it be happy, sad, ugly or beautiful. Evie Mae is excited to share her music with you and hopes that her songs connect with the audience in a way that only music can.
