Wishful is a three piece band from Victoria. The trio met at Queenscliff Music Festival in 2010, where their love of playing and watching music brought them together. Wishful writes their own original music, creating an interesting indie folk style with edgy pop melodies and euphoric harmonies.
Wishful have previously had residencies at the “Honey Bar” in South Melbourne and at “Story” in Southbank. They have also been part of various benefit concerts, including the “Women of Japan Benefit” in Fitzroy. More recently they have played support shows alongside Animaux and at venues such as The Evelyn, the Leongatha Community Hall and Castlemaine Theatre Royal. After taking the second half of 2012 off with band member Memphis overseas, Wishful return to the stage at the Queenscliff Music Festival with much excitement. |
