QMF 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE
To Our Dear QMF Family,
Like all of you, we continue to monitor the situation and news surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic. Firstly we want to say that we remain committed to the health and safety of all Festival attendees, staff, crew, community, volunteers and artists.
As things currently stand we are planning what we hope will be our biggest and best Festival this November 27-29. Should things change, you will be the first to know, but given our Festival is over 8 months away it’s business as usual (or as usual as can be from our living room work stations!). We will continue to communicate with our ticket buyers throughout the year and be open and transparent should the situation change.
Simply put…. If we are forced to cancel the event due to the Coronavirus, all ticket buyers will receive a full refund.
We’re not going to lie… this scares the hell out of us. What we’re seeing happen to our beloved arts, music and events industries is devastating. Fellow festivals being forced to cancel (including our own Low Light Festival). Industry wide people without work. Venues shutting doors. It’s heart breaking. So we feel it’s our duty to do everything we can to work toward November this year, as hopefully we can be some light at the end of the tunnel for our industry, and fans alike.
Please consider donating to Support Act - who are supporting music workers impacted by the Coronavirus.
Thank you for your overwhelming support with our initial Subscriber Pre-Sale tickets. They sold out within 30mins… a new record, and considering everything that’s going on in the world, that’s pretty bloody amazing!
Early Bird tickets are now on sale, and we’ve got some really excited artists lined up already to come and party with you in Queenscliff this November.
