Accessible Viewing Platforms:
There is 1 viewing platform located at the front right of the Lighthouse Stage tent, and also 1 at the back of the Hippos Stage tent. Access to raised viewing platform via ramp. Follow signs for directions to ramp start. Capacity of platforms is limited and controlled by QMF security.
3 accessible toilets are located within the main Festival precinct. Please refer to Accessibility Maps above for locations.
There is accessible parking available on Symonds St between Hesse & Gellibrand Sts. PLEASE NOTE: this parking must be accessed via left turn on Wharf St only. Must be heading in Westerly direction to make left turn. NO RIGHT TURN ON WHARF ST. There is also accessible car parks throughout the town, including the main street (Hesse St), that are close to QMF street venues.
VIP Gold Ticket-holders, please note, there is no wheelchair access to the VIP Viewing Platform. Access to platform via steps only.
Baby Change Facilities:
Are located in the Kids Quarter tent area.
QMF supports Companion Card. Where a cardholder has purchased a QMF festival ticket and carries a valid current Companion Card, we issue a wristband to both the cardholder and the companion. Please take your ticket to the Ticket Exchange Tent when you arrive at the Festival to receive your wristband, and please present your valid Companion Card to our Ticket Exchange Tent volunteers to receive a wristband for your companion at no charge. All Festival attendees must wear a wristband for entry to the Festival.
