The Inertia Brass Band is not your run-of-the-mill brass band. This new age brass band moves between funk, ska, Latin and other strange worlds seamlessly. Inspired by the likes of Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Hot 8 Brass Band and the Youngblood Brass Band, they bring a new sound full of vivacity to the people who hear it. With a completely acoustic line up driven by the heavy bass of an old- time sousaphone and thumping percussion, things get dangerously funky. This is topped off by a bunch of quality soloists, and when these instrumentalists get going, virtually anything could happen.
