Madder Lake

Australian music legends, Madder Lake, reform for an exclusive performance at this year’s festival to belt out their hits and favourites of the past ahead of a new album release in 2009.

One of the first bands to sign to a fledgling Mushroom records label in the 70’s Madder Lake rose to fame off the back of their performance at the Sunbury Festival in 1972. As one of Australia’s first “festival finds”, it’s very fitting that Madder Lake’s first performance back is an exclusive at the 2008 Queenscliff Music Festival.

Madder Lake music is a unique blend of rock, blues and boogie often played loud and wild, but always played with great style and finesse. With the powerhouse vocals of Mick Fettes, the virtuoso guitar playing of Brenden Mason, the driving force of bassist Kerry McKenna and drummer Jac Kreemers together with the spectacular Andy Burnes on keyboards, the Madder Lake experience is back!
